What a difference a week makes!

Amelia had one final follow-up with her doctor today to check her burn. She said it was healing nicely, with no signs of infection. She, also, said it looked like a first degree burn now - she likened it to a severe sunburn. She advised us to continue to use the burn cream and keep it covered to speed healing. But, because it's no longer bleeding or open, Amelia is allowed back in the bathtub. Hooray! Hopefully, in a few weeks she'll be well enough to go swimming!
