Looking for just the right book
Amelia has really not been feeling well the past couple of days. The poor thing's had a fever and diarrhea, and just been very lethargic and cranky. Her few moments of happiness today came from doing her favorite activity: emptying containers. Give her a full laundry basket/toy box/dishwasher and she'll be busily content until the last item is removed. Today she methodically pulled each book out of the bin and placed it on the floor, as if she were searching for just the right one. When she was finished she went back to being lethargic and cranky.

oh, if only kids were just as good as putting things INTO the basket as they are at taking things out. =)
Awwww... poor kiddo! I hope she's feeling better soon!
Annie has always loved emptying containers, too. Her favorite game lately is to dump a stack of her paperbacks out and say "Mommy, can you help me make a pile?"
Yeah, it's about as exciting as it sounds.
