It was a beautiful morning. The stadium was bustling with families. We met baby Annie and Kristie (who walked with us despite the fact that it was her 30th birthday!) at Qwest Field. Mars had a great time running around. In fact, I think he was a bit upset that we put him in the stroller and didn't let him walk the 3.5 miles. It was so inspiring to hear all the amazing stories and to see all the incredible kids! Thanks to everyone's generous donations, we were able to raise $415! Yay for babies! Awesome, looks like a beautiful day. Did he put any rocks in his mouth at Lincoln Park, or has he already outgrown that too?
Thanks for inviting us to do the march for babies with you! It was a great experience (worth waking up early for). Although maybe next year we could meet there at 9:15 instead of your place at 7:30? =)
There was a walk here in Wyandotte as well. All of our local shops had donation boxes. We will never again take those kinds of services for granted. It just made us miss mars more.
